We are pleased to report that the 2024 Free Medical Camp, organized by Nepal Himalaya Sherpa Foundation
(NHSF), was a significant success. Our team provided much-needed healthcare services to the remote
communities of Ripal and the surrounding vi lages.
As we reflect on this achievement, we also extend our warmest Christmas and New Year greetings to a l our
supporters, volunteers, and the communities we serve. May the holiday season bring joy, health, and
happiness, and may the coming year be fi led with peace and prosperity for all.
Overview of the Camp

The camp was held in the mountain vi lages of Ripal and Kilkhording Gompa. Over the course of the camp, we
were able to support and treat 211 human patients and 2 Dog Patients, ranging from 6 months to 90 years
old. People from eight different vi lages—Ripal, Taur, Dorkharka, Putha, Dhupi Surke, KaptiKhola, Jyangding,
and Pulika—traveled to our camp seeking medical assistance. This highlights the critical need for healthcare
services in these remote regions, where access to proper medical care is limited
Medical Team
Our dedicated team, which included a mix of professionals and support staff, played an essential role in
ensuring the success of the camp. The team comprised 2 Translators, 5 Helpers, 1 Physician, 1 Amchi
(Traditional Tibetan Medicine Practitioner), 1 Sowa Rigpa (Traditional Tibetan Medicine Practitioner), 1 Sowa
Rigpa Assistant & 2 Drivers.
Their commitment to serving the local population, coupled with the spirit of teamwork, ensured that every
patient received the care and attention they needed
Impact

This medical camp provided critical healthcare
services to individuals who otherwise would not
have had access to professional medical help. By
offering free consultations, diagnoses, and
treatments, we addressed a range of health
concerns across the patient demographic. The
presence of both modern and traditional medical
practitioners also a lowed for a holistic approach to
healthcare, which was we l received by the local
communities

this camp would not have been possible. The success of this medical camp is a testament to the impact that
can be made when individuals and organizations come together for a common cause. Your generosity has
