Sponsorships for disadvantaged children

The children in the Himalayan regions need school books, notebooks, pens, clothing and a hot meal every day. The salaries for the teachers and the cook as well as medicine can also be paid with a sponsorship. Every child experiences themselves as part of the Buddhist community and its values.

Lo Garphuk Kagyu Njing Samten Choling Monastery School/Upper Mustang

The monastery is located in the upper Mustang near the Chinese/Tib. border at 3800m. Lama Lhakpa, the head of the Buddhist school, currently looks after over 20 young nuns and monks. The children and young people receive a general education as well as the classical Buddhist education.

Free Medical Camps, Okhaldhunga Region

The people in this remote region lack basic medical care. If someone becomes seriously ill in this remote area, they must be taken to the district town of Okhaldhunga or the capital city of Kathmandu.

Non-profit English school in Bigu, Dolakha

Our mountain school is located in the Mount Everest area at an altitude of around 2700 m. After kindergarten, the children there attend preschool and then grades 1-6.
