Lo Garphuk Kagyu Njing Samten Choling Monastery School/Upper Mustang –Nepal
The monastery is located in the upper Mustang near the Chinese/Tib. border at 3800m. Lama Lhakpa, the head of the Buddhist school, currently looks after over 20 young nuns and monks. The children and young people receive a general education as well as the classical Buddhist education. Our financial support ensures that the needs of daily life are covered to a certain extent. This includes school books, notebooks, pens, clothing, etc., school meals, salaries for the teachers and the cook, and medicine. The monastery gives the often disadvantaged young people a loving home, education and a good social community.
